The Meeting of the two delegations - the Russian, under the aegis of the State Secretart, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation R.A. Chekushev, and the Turkish, under the aegis of the Deputy Minister Of Healthcare, Assoc. Prof. Şuayıp Birinci - was held in Istanbul in the premises of Health Institutes of Türkiye (TÜSEB) on September, 18th, 2025.
The vital questions of certification and access of the Russian medical products to the Turkish market restricted by the massive CE-mark revocation were discussed.
The parties agreed to continue consultations and appoint appropriate commissions to compare the applied standards in the system of certification and standardization of the Russian Federation with the technical requirements applied in European Union (CE) and USA (FDA).
The both sides expressed an interest in finding the fastest possible solution to the current problem.
The representatives of the 2 leading Russian medical devices exporting companies - OOO "Petr Telegin" (BPLab) and OOO "Neurosoft" - were invited to the Meeting as experts.
